“Under Armour Stays Cooler” — Baseball Concept
Developed a concept for Under Armour Baseball, blending vintage sports advertising with contemporary graphic storytelling.
Goal
Create a visual that captures the energy and nostalgia of classic sports print ads while reinterpreting it through a modern lens.
Approach
Drew from early influences of ’90s and late '80s sports advertising. The concept is a fusion of vintage print media and graphic tees, aiming to create something that feels both archival and wearable.
Built the illustration through a layered digital process, starting with rough sketching and then vector line work. I then went into a grayscale rendering to define lighting and depth, then applied gradient mapping and color adjustments to create a cohesive palette and final mood.
Outcome
Delivered a concept that translates the spirit of classic sports advertising into a modern design language, reinforcing Under Armour Baseball’s identity through nostalgia-driven storytelling.
